I'm a senior at the University of Kentucky pursuing a degree in Integrated Straegic Communications with a foucs in Public Relations and minoring in African American Studies. I chose the topic of "Benevolent Societies" because my maternal family founded the Inseparable Friends Benevolent Society of Opelousas, Lousiana and I was intrigued to learn more about its history.
